Welcome to Secure Ride. By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Services Provided

Secure Ride provides mobile vehicle security installations, including but not limited to alarms, immobilisers, and tracking systems. All work is carried out by qualified installers at your chosen location (home, workplace, or dealership).

2. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only once a deposit or full payment (where required) has been received.

  • If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the agreed appointment may result in a cancellation fee.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • The vehicle must be roadworthy, unlocked, and in a safe location suitable for our installer to work.

  • You must ensure that you, or a responsible person, is present at the installation location.

  • Any additional work required due to incorrect information provided (e.g. wrong vehicle details) may result in extra charges.

4. Payments

  • Payment must be made in full upon completion of the installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Secure Ride accepts payment via cash, card, or bank transfer.

  • Systems remain the property of Secure Ride until paid for in full.

5. Warranty

  • All products supplied and installed by Secure Ride include a manufacturer’s warranty, the length of which may vary by brand.

  • Secure Ride guarantees the quality of our installation work for 12 months from the date of fitting.

  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorised repairs, or tampering.

6. Insurance-Approved Systems

  • Many of our systems (including S5 and S7 trackers) are Thatcham-approved and meet insurer requirements.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with their insurer which system is required for compliance. Secure Ride cannot be held responsible for insurance issues where the wrong system has been selected by the customer.

7. Liability

  • Secure Ride is not liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle unless caused directly by proven negligence during installation.

  • We are not responsible for consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, business interruption, or insurance claims.

  • Installation times provided are estimates only. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, vehicle condition, or access issues) do not make Secure Ride liable for compensation.

8. Product Transfers & Removals

  • In most cases, products can be removed and refitted into another vehicle. This service will incur additional charges.

  • Secure Ride cannot guarantee compatibility with all vehicles.

9. Returns & Refunds

  • Installed Products: Once a product has been installed, it is considered used and cannot be returned for a refund unless it is found to be faulty.

  • Faulty Products: If a system develops a fault within the warranty period, Secure Ride will arrange a repair or replacement in line with the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Uninstalled Products: If you cancel before installation and we have already ordered the product for you, a restocking fee may apply.

  • Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking date.

  • Change of Mind: Refunds are not available if you decide you no longer want the product or service after installation.

10. Privacy

  • Any customer information provided to Secure Ride (including personal details and vehicle information) is kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of providing our services.

  • We do not share personal data with third parties unless required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
